Introducing something new– hand painted (by me– Michelle) handbags. I always come back to acrylic paint and I’ve finally figured out how to turn my truly personal designs into handbags. I hand painted canvas using acrylic paint mixed with a fabric medium so the paint doesn’t crack. Then, after a period of curing, I added the clear vinyl and finished the handbag like the others I make.
Hand painted canvas with new clear vinyl and trimmed with new vinyl
Lining created with vintage coordinating sheet
Buckram layer between outside and lining for structure
Base made from a double layer of recycled corrugated plastic
Interior double pocket
Acrylic ring handles
Length: 9", Height: 10”, Depth: 4"
Interior handle drop 4”
