The Chelle Summer Barbie family modeled these new handbags for their Easter photo shoot. The green gingham/trellis handbag was created from a vintage vinyl tablecloth (still in its packaging) and the green and yellow Take Everywhere Bag was made from a bolt of 1978 upholstery fabric I found at an estate sale. I bought it because growing up I had the matching comforter that my mom had bought me when she was working at Marshall Field’s in the 1970s.
