Vintage Vera Dishtowels Transform into Handbags

Someone had sewn two Vera Neumann dishtowels together with a pocket of sorts. I took them apart and created this handbag.

• Vintage Vera dishtowels covered with new clear vinyl and trimmed with new vinyl

• Lining created with coordinating vintage sheet

• Buckram layer between outside and lining for structure

• Base made from a double layer of recycled corrugated plastic

• Interior double pocket

• Acrylic ring handles
